RIVER RUN LODGE is located near the Deschutes River in the heart of "East" Maupin's recreation district. To reach Maupin travel east on Hwy. 26 from Portland, south on Hwy. 197 from The Dalles or north on Hwy. 197 from Madras.

FROM PORTLAND: Take Hwy. 26 to Hwy. 216, turn left to Maupin, turn right on Hwy. 197. Drive through Maupin to the bridge at the bottom of the hill. As you cross the bridge you will see River Run Lodge on the hill. 

* Allow 2 to 2 1/2 hours travel time.

 FROM THE DALLES: Take Hwy. 197 south to Maupin. Drive through Maupin to the bridge at the bottom of the hill. As you cross the bridge you will see River Run Lodge on the hill.

 * Allow 3/4 to 1 hour travel time.

FROM MADRAS: Take Hwy. 97 north to Hwy. 197, then 197 to Maupin. As you come to the bottom of the canyon, just before you cross the bridge, turn right into River Run Lodge Parking lot.

* Allow 1 to 1 1/4 hours travel time.
